Koch Industries unit acquires controlling interest in robotics company

A unit of Wichita-based Koch Industries Inc. has bought into a robotics company with plans to help commercialize new electric motors and control mechanisms.  Koch Chemical Technology Group LLC has, according to a press release, acquired a controlling interest in Genesis Robotics, a subsidiary of British Colombia-based Genesis Advanced Technologies, and will form a new company known as Genesis Robotics and Motion Technologies.  While terms of the acquisition were not released, Koch described it…
