The school has invested most of that back into its students, with spending increasing $40 million over the same period, according to recent bond disclosures.

The private university’s net assets have nearly doubled from $272 million in 2013 to $444 million this year.

Universal Engineering Services Inc. won an $11 million contract to assist with design and construction services. The contract comes as the company celebrates the 20th anniversary of its Tampa office, and is the most lucrative in Universal’s 53-year history, according to company President Mark Israel.
