The job cuts are happening across the $15 billion Honeywell Aerospace division at various locations.

Honeywell isn’t disclosing how many cuts it’s making.

But the aerospace, aviation and industrial manufacturing company is looking for volunteers to take severance packages to eliminate jobs via attrition.

The pilots, represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) Local 1224, will immediately receive up to 31 percent in pay increases, high quality health insurance and greater job security. The union called the new contract "a major victory" saying they received "substantial improvements in compensation, benefits, and scheduling."

A successor for IAP Worldwide Services’ subcontract has not been identified, a letter to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity shows. That means employees currently working under the subcontract have no guarantee of continued employment.

Allegiant Airlines, announced new nonstop flights between Trenton, New Jersey and the Pinellas County-based airport. The new flights, which begin Nov. 4, will cost travelers $39 one-way.

The company said Wednesday in a regulatory filing that it is "reasonably possible that we could decide to end production of the 747."

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has already reduced the Everett 747 production line to a rate of half-a-plane per month and in the filing indicated that demand was not enough to increase it to one plane per month, as the company had hoped to do this year.
